Central Catholic has the perfect glue to mesh together the mixture of youth, inexperience, and hype. Deploying Sam Brackney Sam Brackney 6'2" | 270 lbs | OL Pittsburgh Central Catholic | 2025 State PA in the same huddle as Kalis and Sassic has to hold a tremendous amount of value. Having a senior who sets an example on and off the field has likely helped the two stalwart tackles develop more than we can possibly know. Watching center play from field level is close to impossible, so I won’t pretend to take away much from the game against North Allegheny. Brackney’s regular season highlights further cemented what I thought of him in the past, Sam Brackney Sam Brackney 6'2" | 270 lbs | OL Pittsburgh Central Catholic | 2025 State PA is flat-out one of the best IOL Pennsylvania has to offer. A 2nd-level blocker who is dominant at the POA. An ultra polite young man, you wouldn’t think so based on some of the nasty blocks he can put on tape. Brackney is the third elite lineman along this unit.
