Part of the reason why Dalers have been so successful because of their star running back. After the recent tragedy, Farmingdale got an emotional win over Port Washington and Posillico ran for 231 yards and three touchdowns and had one of the top defensive IQ plays I’ve seen. At RB, Posillico is a tough runner and he hit the hole hard and exploded to the second level consistently against Port Washington. He had blazing speed to the outside which helped him get free for some key runs. On defense Posillico had a key tackle for loss helping hold the Vikings to just 14 points. He also had an incredible heads up play where he saw his teammate was near him and he leaped out of bounds to keep the ball in, he batted it to his teammate for the interception for an incredible play.

Farmingdale has historically had a great running attack and now it will be Sal Posillico Sal Posillico 5'8" | 165 lbs | RB Farmingdale | 2024 State NY being the workhorse for the Dalers. He created an amazing 1-2 punch with Lorenezo Ramos last year. Posillico hit the hole hard and was a very tough runner. Now with him getting more carries and some good lineman up front, we could see the senior tailback have a big year. He was one of the most elusive running backs I saw during summer showcases.

Big play Sal took his talents to the downstate classic and he showed why he is a nightmare for linebackers in the open field. His first step was one of the best out of all the running backs I saw and he was continuously winning his reps. He exploded on quick and realistic routes against defenders and he’d easily haul in passes. He quietly is going to be one of the top running backs this upcoming season.

I really like Sal Posillico Sal Posillico 5'8" | 165 lbs | RB Farmingdale | 2024 State NY as a player and the Farmingdale running back has some of the best production in the state. It is rare that players with his build get recruited but I think that Posillico has the speed and quickness to go along with that production that make some teams interested. It won’t be an easy road for Posillico to play above the DIII level but I think his name is one to watch this fall as he continues to perform for Farmindale.
