Last season, he was completely limited and just didn’t have the type of junior season that he was expecting coming into the year. But now, Wilson is listed as one of their top players to watch, specifically on the offensive side of the ball. We mentioned McCord needing to be able to throw the ball more this season and having reliable targets in the passing game will help that. Between Moody and Wilson, Adair should have a solid 1-2 punch in Class 2A-2.

He had a breakout sophomore season in 2023, emerging as the team’s leading receiver. He was without a doubt the top guy in receptions, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns. And the reason for so much excitement around Wilson is the way he finished the 2023 season. Almost all of his production came in the second half of the season. He had four straight games where he had 100+ yards. And with Adair working in a new quarterback, look for Wilson and his playmaking ability to make that transition a lot easier this fall.
