McKevitt was one of the leading rushers in Orange County before suffering an injury in the middle of the season in 2023. He was the fastest prospect at the Prep Redzone Stock Up Showcase in January.
On film, McKevitt does a good job making one move and getting up the field quickly instead of dancing around too much. He can turn on the jets when into the open field and is effective between the tackles as well.
McKevitt also has offers from Benedictine and Pacific University.

He was one of the best athletes in the Prep Redzone Stock Up Showcase and ran the fastest 40 time of the day. McKevitt is twitchy at the line of scrimmage and explosive once he gets past the second level on film. Laguna Hills will likely get him 20 plus touches a game next season and he could be a 1500 total yards guy.

McKevitt stood out as one of the top overall athletes at Sunday’s event, finishing with the top overall 40 time of the day and at the top of every testing category among the RBs. His athleticism noticeably translated to individual drills and 1v1s where he showed quick, twitchy change-of-direction and superior speed when lined up over LBs. He was the second-leading rusher for Laguna Hills last season with 700 yards and 7 TDs on 93 carries as a junior. McKevitt’s an under-the-radar FCS-potential prospect that should be a major stock riser on the recruiting trail this fall.
