Continue ReadingWalz transferred to Dana Hills from San Clemente and had an excellent second half of the season in 2023.
He finished in the top five in every speed test category at the Prep Redzone Stock Up Showcase in January.
Walz reads blocks well and is a one cut and go type of back rather than stuttering too much. He showed good speed as a kick returner and is a downhill runner. I expect Dana Hills to build its offense around Walz next season.
Highlights
Hoze was one of the top junior runners in the Southern Section last season with 1490 yards and 21 touchdowns.
He ran an 11.44 in the 100 meters last season which isn’t elite speed but he can fly when he gets into the open field. Hoze gets to the line of scrimmage quickly and is a downhill runner. He drives his legs through contact and can break tackles effectively.
Highlights
McKevitt was one of the leading rushers in Orange County before suffering an injury a few weeks into the season against Lakewood.
He was one of the best athletes in the Prep Redzone Stock Up Showcase and ran the fastest 40 time of the day. McKevitt is twitchy at the line of scrimmage and explosive once he gets past the second level on film. Laguna Hills will likely get him 20 plus touches a game next season and he could be a 1500 total yards guy.
