committed to Mizzou on March 11th. I counted over fifteen other FBS offers on Ryan’s Twitter account, so rest assured there are countless Missouri fans who are pleased Ryan is staying home. Watch for the versatile lineman to cement his status as a top OL prospect in his final year of high school football.
Ryan’s power and nonstop effort consistently buries linebackers at the second level. Strength and quickness show gaining leverage and laterally sustaining defensive ends at the point of attack. Ryan’s acceleration, fast hands, and strong latch show exploding off the ball and into defensive linemen as a run blocker. Athletic change of direction and a strong anchor highlight Ryan’s potential as a collegiate pass protector.

, who joined the 1,000 pound club in May and has some impressive clips of him dunking on his Twitter, is a beast of a blocking TE who sees OT in his future in a common positional switch for still-growing young bucks. He still does get TE reps though, and the junior came into the season experienced in unofficial visits but still without an offer until the Kansas Jayhawks reached out with a P5 scholarship on October 12th. Louisville, Memphis, and Iowa State have all followed suit, and in his midseason film Jostes reveals himself as a talented and nasty blocker with a great base, long arms, and strength at the point of attack. Technique, leg drive, and the ability to block at the second level and third level are all shown in his midseason film as well. You can also tell he revels in physically dominating an opponent, a quality that has surely already excited collegiate OL coaches around the country. Man, Missouri is loaded in 2024.

We wouldn’t be surprised to see Jostes, who now lists himself at 6-6 and 260 pounds in his Twitter bio, move to the offensive line at some point over the next few years. He is one of the better blocking tight ends we’ve seen on film in a while and he can be a nice weapon at that spot as essentially an extra lineman. With his size, he could grow into a nice offensive tackle in the future as well. That versatility should help him attract more and more attention from college coaches as they get a look at him. We are excited to see what he does the next two years and he continues to get better and better (and bigger). Jostes moves up from No. 56 to No. 25 with this update.
