. Luther bounced back from a loss to Jones with a dominating win over Kellyville and there was no doubt about who the star of the night was. Vega would finish with 120 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. But that was just on offense. On defense, he also added 13 tackles, three sacks and one interception. Still not done. He had an impact in special teams by taking a kick back for his third total touchdown on the night. Luther is still alive for a home playoff game and with a little help, they could still play their way into the district title conversation. Vega’s complete performance on Friday should give them momentum going down the stretch.
