Perez saw significant time on varsity last year as a freshman for the Midlothian Trojans, he put up very impressive numbers. He hauled in 28 receptions to go along with 3 touchdowns as one of their leading receivers in 2022. The rising sophomore should be in for a bigger year this fall as he also picked off 3 passes last year and 2 of them he took to the house. I can see why people love him as a wideout but my money is that he will be playing defensive back at the next level. He is a physical corner who will not lose a 1 on 1 matchup, despite the efforts of so many to get by him.
