Mr. Harper is a downhill back that can fight for extra yards by playing through contact. He finished the day with 9 carries for 64 yards and 1 TD en route to winning the 2A IHSA State Championship. There were countless times where it seemed like he was going to be brought down for a loss on the play but he was able to break the weak grab tackles and continue working through the whistle to stay ahead of the sticks. With all the weapons St. Teresa has they spread the ball around a lot during this contest, don’t let that shy you away from this workhorse that has as big frame standing at 6’2.

As we move down towards 2A football, we have St. Teresa’s Mr. Harper who finished the night with 102 rushing yards and broke a 53 yard TD run as well. This young man has a good frame standing at 6’2 which he uses to his advantage with his downhill style running. Here, he can keep his feet driving through contact to break weak grab tackles and continue to work through contact to keep the chains moving.
