has been a huge piece of Bob Jones’ defense the last few seasons, finding ways to dominate offenses all over the state.
“Washington is a talented defender who kills offenses with his speed, instincts, and physicality. He’s quick on his feet, can cover lots of ground, and has the pursuit and tackling skills to hunt and take down the ball carrier all over the field.
I’m impressed with how versatile of a playmaker Washington is. He’s a dominant run defender who can equally impact the pass by blitzing and dropping back into coverage to make plays on the ball. I think he’s set for a massive senior season-everyone should look out for him this fall.“
Washington ended his junior season with 105 total tackles (70 solo, 6 for loss), 2 sacks, 7 hurries, and one FF.
With how well he’s played, Washington has seen his recruitment grow, picking up offers from UT Martin and North Alabama in the last few months. Washington’s a seriously talented prospect with a big season ahead- check out some of his film below:

has been a huge piece of Bob Jones’s defense the past two seasons, and has been playing especially well this fall. Just this past week, Washington had one of his best performances of the season against Albertville in his team’s 42-7 win. Washington is a tackling machine that can defend against the run at a high level. He does a great job fighting off blocks and can work his way through offensive linemen to find and wrap up the ball carrier. It’s really impressive watching Washington take over games, he does a terrific job tracking, pursuing, and taking down the ball carrier, regardless of where he lines up pre-snap. It was easy to see this throughout his game against Albertville, Washington was all over the field and ended the game with 16 tackles and a sack. It’s been really exciting watching Washington develop, he’s having one of his best seasons yet and shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon. Be sure to tune in and watch him throughout the rest of this season!

has been a huge piece of Bob Jones defense, especially last fall- he had a breakout season filled with tons of big plays and is now primed for a big junior year this fall. Washington is a tackling machine that plays extremely well against the run. He constantly fights off blocks and works his way through offensive linemen to get to the ball carrier and make plays. Frequently on tape, Washington does a terrific job tracking, pursuing, and taking down the ball carrier. It doesn’t matter where he lines up pre-snap, Washington will find a way to get either himself or his teammates involved on the play. Washington is coming off his best season yet for Bob Jones, he ended the year with 70 total tackles (54 solo, 3 for loss) one sack, two pass breakups, and one forced fumble. Be sure to watch out for Washington this fall, he was incredibly fun to watch last season and is bound to have a big year for Bob Jones’ defense this year!
