At 6’6, 285 pounds with a 4.14 GPA, he now owns offers from Pitt, Virginia Tech, Buffalo, Miami of Ohio, and Kent State. I originally viewed Maurizio as more of a Group of Five offensive lineman, but the Power Four attention has changed that conversation. In all honesty, I believe No. 48 undersells where he belongs today. The recruiting world has pushed his evaluation higher than even I originally projected. Expect his ranking to receive another adjustment in the near future. Maurizio continues proving that his recruitment deserves to be mentioned alongside the best offensive linemen in the class.

Coming out of a powerhouse Pittsburg Central Catholic program, Roman Maurizio is a rising standout in the Pennsylvania 2028 OL crop of talent. Maurizio earned some good wins against high-level DL opposition, and he flashed an excellent ability to gain both depth and width in his pass set while staying square and patient, and he could also adjust laterally and stay in good body positions to play twitch or bend. Really liked the balance and body control in the big man. Bright future for this 2028 OL prospect out of the Great State of Pennsylvania!

This allows him to dominate defensive linemen. He has great arms to reach block defensive linemen. He is especially lethal as a run blocker. He can fire off the ball and dominate defenders. He also shows a good ability to pass block by moving his feet to stay in front of defenders. Maurizio is the next big offensive lineman recruit for PCC.
