About Rodney

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a 5’8”, 160 lb sophomore running back with strong confidence in my abilities and the work I put in. My game is built on being extremely elusive and agile, with the quickness to make defenders miss and the strength to finish runs.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I take pride in being coachable, and disciplined both on and off the field. I’m committed to getting better every day and bringing energy and leadership to my team.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

No my focus is entirely on the team, and working to get better.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed strong leadership skills by encouraging my teammates to push themselves and by leading through my effort on the field and in the weight room. Teamwork is a big part of my game. Doing my job to the best of my ability. Off the field, I stay respectful and involved in my community, helping out when I can and setting a good example for younger kids who look up to me.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One challenge I’ve faced is competing against older and bigger players, but it pushed me to work harder in the weight room and improve my speed and agility. It taught me to stay confident, stay motivated, and always keep improving.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that challenges me both on and off the field. I want a program with a strong football culture where I can compete at a high level, improve my skills, and be part of a winning team. I want coaches who push me, teammates who support me, and a community that respects hard work, discipline, and character.
