Expert Analysis
Sam Erman | Prep Redzone Scout
Timmons stands out on offense with the way he naturally creates room to work. He has good length and knows how to use it to his advantage, especially when breaking off routes and keeping defenders guessing. He’s smooth through his cuts and shows good balance, making it easy for him to stay in rhythm with the quarterback. He’s not afraid to use his body to win matchups and looks comfortable catching the ball in traffic. I like the way he stays patient and lets routes develop, which helps him consistently get open.

Timmons is a smooth two-way player who knows how to work space and create separation. He’s got some length to him and uses it well, especially on intermediate routes where he can sink his hips, stay balanced, and snap out clean. He understands how to stem defenders and isn’t afraid to get physical when he needs to. On the other side of the ball, he’s competitive and plays with some instinct. There’s a lot to like about how he moves and how he sees the game.

Tall, lean sip of water but is developmental and should grow with time. Very athletic player with great arm length. Played both sides. Wide catch radius. Gets full extension on the ball, can high-point and win 1v1 battles. Good adjustment back and low. Needs to develop as a route runner if he sticks with receiver.
