Plays good overtop Zone coverage reading the Quarterback and understanding the route schemes to jump routes and make a play on the ball with quick change of direction movements and closing speed. Good ball skills to make a play on the ball and create turnovers. He is a willing run defender and trusted to make open-field tackles. Can be utilized on the blitz and put pressure on the QB in the pocket. There is a lot to like in RJ’s game and more schools need to be taking notice of this Class of ’25 Safety due to his ability to process the game and play with speed and quickness.
