During the latest ranking update for the state’s 2028 class, we watched quite a bit of film of athletes all over. It’s hard to find a better highlight tape than Tahlequah Sequoyah’s

from last season. Blackbear was a new name for us during this update but his film was one of our favorites. This kid has to be one of the strongest running backs in the state, regardless of class. There are multiple plays where he looks bottled up in a swarm of three or four defenders and somehow comes out the other side. There are other plays where he is quite literally dragging defenders for up to five extra yards. Blackbear was incredibly productive in addition to being a player that embraces contact and looks to dish out as much punishment as possible.
