Rickey has reliable hands, he attacks the football in flight and he uses his body well to shield off defenders in close coverage. Rickey works the short to intermediate area like a veteran and he has the speed to stretch the defense. Evans excels at yards after the catch, he is shifty in space and he gets north quickly, which allows him to be a scoring threat no matter the down and distance. Evans is a two-time State Champion with South Oak Cliff and was a key offensive threat on the Golden Bears offense. Evans is a national recruit with double digit offers.
