Mr. Jackson was a man on a mission being a force on both sides of the ball finishing with 10 carries for 112 yards with 1 TD and 9 tackles on defense. On offense, he uses his lateral quickness to turn the corner and broke a long run by getting vertical using his foot quicks along the sideline before he got brought down in the redzone. The very next play he took the carry and got into the endzone to cap off his explosive run. On defense, this young man can close in an instant to make open field tackles in the flat for little to no gain throughout this night and when he did wasn’t afraid to deliver heavy hits on the ball carrier. He also came on a blitz a few times where he closed on the QB flushing him out of the pocket and generated pressure forcing errand throws. All in all, this young man was electric and gave his team the spark to not only keep their lead but expand upon it.

Mr. Jackson has a good burst through the hole to stay ahead of the sticks and almost ended up breaking a few long runs for six before getting shoe string tackles at the last moment. His burst is deadly as if he gains a step on 2nd level defenders he can be off to the races for 6. That’s exactly what happened in the 4th on a 4th & 1 play where he was met in the backfield but kept his feet driving to break the grab tackles twice before breaking free to break a long run for 6. He finished the night with 3 rushing TDs, two in short yardage in the redzone and the last being the 30+ yard run in the 4th. Overall, this is one of the highly talented young men on SHG’s high powered offense.
