About Rhys

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play a college-ready brand of tight end football — physical, smart, versatile, and tough. Not just an athlete playing TE; I play like a true matchup weapon with a disciplined, team-first mentality. Coaches get a player who can help in every personnel package and become a safety blanket, a chain-mover, and a red-zone problem

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I believe in hard work to get results, I am a great teammate, encouraging others through thick and thin. I believe if you throw me the ball I WILL catch it. I know that I will do whatever the coaches ask of me to support a team win

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I support my church youth group on Wed and Sun nights. ONce a month I volunteer to wokr in the nursery taking care of toddlers during service. I also go on a mission tripo every year to support spreading the word through acts of service.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I lead through encrouagement and love, not asking anyone to do somethign I myself am not prepared to do. I lead from the front on the field and i am the biggest encourager on the sidelines. I know my actions set the tone for our team. I have learned patience through my work with young children and patience through being a team leader on our mission trips.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Although I have been diagnosed with ADHD, I work everyday to persevere and succeed regardless.

What type of college are you looking for?

I want a great education taht will build my skills to be botha succesful studnet and a succeful football player. I want coaches who will challenge and motivate me, engage with me and drive me to be better every day. AND I want a culture that matches my personality,.. the most comeptitive, hardworking team.
