Strain thrived during the 1 on 1 drills against the defensive backs. Strain has very good athletic ability due to very good speed, jumping, acceleration, and change of direction. Strain used his very good release to attack DBs at the line of scrimmage. Whether it was off coverage or the press jam, Strain used the 1-2 shake movement to create separation between himself and the defensive back. He played with an extra fire to him, and it showed throughout the day. These defensive backs were scrappy and very physical, and Strain rose to the occasion. He’d create separation through his speed and physicality. He has very good body control and adjustments. Contorted his body into a weird angle to make the catch. Very good ball tracking skills too. Colleges NEED to look his way. The senior is a baller.
