He has a good 6’4″ frame with good athleticism, allowing him to be quick off the ball to engage offensive linemen quickly at the point of attack. You notice his relentless motor on the field, always in a ready position to read and react through the play. He has very good strength to hold his gap with good length to keep linemen out of his chest. Very good lateral movement in run defense down the line of scrimmage against the run. He can recover and reset when initially beaten and still provide pressure on the play. Also plays Left Tackle on offense where he had a good season. He has good discipline in his Pass Protection, keeping a half-man relationship and a good anchor. Has the strength to win in Gap blocks and the athleticism to get to the second level. Expect another big season from Reece this fall.
