back in mid-June, and my feelings are still the same for the Radford signal-caller. He has a much better arm than people give him credit for, and he should “wow” scouts as a senior in 2026.
The offense he’s used in at RHS doesn’t really allow him to show off his passing ability more than 10-12 times per game, but when he does throw the ball, good things happen.
2026 is going to be a huge year for Dobbins when it comes to his recruiting, and he could see some more offers roll in if he stands out again as a passer.

threw for 1,860 passing yards and had a 21/9 TD:INT ratio, while completing 61.8% of his passes. Those are some pretty gaudy numbers for a passer in an offense that relied heavily on the run, as most high school teams do at that level.
The 6’0.5″, 165-pound QB has an unusually strong arm, and consistently shows it off both at practice and in-game. He’s more than capable of making some tough throws across the field, and there’s a good chance that the Radford coaches will incorporate more of a passing element to the offense in 2026.
Dobbins may not have the stocky build that FBS coaches like to see, but he’s the type of guy who Division 2 and 3 programs have gravitated towards as of late. It’ll be interesting to see whether he garners low-level D1 interest this year.
