About Quinton

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Sophomore wideout with a long frame and great hands. A sure target who makes tough catches look easy. Length helps with jump balls and fades over defenders. Strong, reliable hands and rarely drops passes and can secure the ball in traffic. Good size, catch ability, and blocking technique. A mismatch for smaller defenders.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Calm, disciplined mindset. Not flashy or reckless, plays smart. Focuses on running clean routes, making the safe catch, and executing every play. Values consistency over highlights and believes that steady production wins games.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Yes

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

As a St. Augustine Purple Knight, I have developed strong leadership, teamwork, and responsibility. I’ve learned how to lead by example, show up on time, work hard, and stay focused even when things get tough. I understand that being a leader isn’t about talking the most, but about doing what’s right and helping others stay motivated.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

When I was 11 years old, I was displaced by Hurricane Ida. My family and I had to leave our home, and everything felt uncertain. I didn’t know when I would return, where I would go to school, or what the future would look like. That experience was scary and stressful, especially at such a young age. My family moved and rented multiple homes in the following months while our home was renovated.

What type of college are you looking for?

A university that will properly prepare me for my career choice, and one where I can start my journey into the world when I transition to life after a student on and off the field.
