Atkins is a really well-rounded EDGE who can make a big impact as a pass rusher. He’s really quick on his feet and can overwhelm OTs with his speed, quickly making his way into the backfield to generate pressure and take down the quarterback.
Atkins is just as talented against the run- he can set the edge, collapse rushing lanes, and pursue after the ballcarrier for some impressive hustle stops behind the LOS. Atkins has even made an impact for his team’s ST unit- he really caught my attention with his fake punt stop last season, it’s clear he’s a highly instinctual player.
