Last time Stoney Creek and Adams met, Quinn racked up over 10 tackles and 2 PBUs.
Quinn is a player who I think plays better against the best competition. We saw it against Adams- constantly crashed on the run, and not afraid to get physical against Adams’ Veer offense. In the pass game, Quinn does a nice job staying disciplined to his zone, and playing on a man when needed. In obvious passing situations, I’m expecting Quinn to show up.

Quinn made a number of good plays in Stoney Creek’s upset win over Lake Orion.
The tape begins with a great run fit. Quinn does an excellent job getting into the C gap and plugging it up. Second, another good run fit, this time outside the tackles.
Whenever the Lake Orion run game made it to the second level, it seems like Quinn was there to make a stop. Not a long tape, but still some impressive plays against an OAA Red opponent.

I like what Zezula showed against a good Warren Cousino program.
His tape kicks off with a phenomenal pick-6 off an underthrown ball. Great job taking full advantage of the extremely rare easy INT opportunity. Second, a really nice PBU on the receiver running the go. Great job getting to his spot and getting a hand on it. Third, a nice read, attack, and big hit on the ballcarrier.
I’m impressed with what Zezula showed during week 1. I’m extremely intrigued about what he’ll do this week against Lake Orion!

Quinn’s got the tools. I’ve mentioned Quinn’s Sophomore season tape before, but again, it shows a lot of promise. Defending the pass, Quinn looked solid last season- his effort was always phenomenal. This offseason, I’m extremely confident that Quinn has significantly improved his IQ and overall pass defense fundamentals. Plus, Quinn has always been a willing run defender.
Quinn reminds me of a few safeties from over the years. Most of which ended up developing into good Division 2 prospects. I feel that’s Quinn’s ceiling.

I’ve been wanting to dive into Quinn’s tape for a while.
- Consistent backpetal- gets low, could be a little smoother.
- Change of direction needs to improve
- Decent ball skills, but another area that can improve
- Way above-average run defender. Reacts quickly and not afraid to hit
- Overall, increasing athleticism while being more fluid (no wasted movement) would significantly improve Quinn’s game
