The 2027 class is loaded with excellent football players up and down the Prep RedZone Rankings. With so much depth some really good players are not ranked as high as they would be in a different year. let's take a look 5 players I predict will be producing at a higher rate that there ranking suggests.

Quinn is a player I am very high on. The ball hawking safety from stoney creek is a player you need to know where he is at all times. I really like the way Quinn reads the quarterbacks eyes and has good anticipation in getting to his area and making a play on the ball. On multiple occasions Quinn was able to bait the Qb into a throw which resulted in an interception. Another part of Quinns game that is vastly underrated is his ability to come up and stick you in the run game. Quinn has excellent speed which allows him to cover a lot of ground in a hurry. Keep an eye on Quinn as the season begins and don't be surprised if his stock rises rapidly over the first few weeks.

Ryan shows up all over the field for the Rockford Rams. The first thing that popped on film was Ryan's ability to tote the rock. Ryan shows good vision and good open field speed for a player of his size. Ryan also lays bone crushing hits from his fullback spot. Ryan routinely flattens linebackers and safety's flying up into the play. I also really like Ryan as a linebacker at the next level. Ryan does an excellent job setting the edge as a standup defensive end. Ryan also shows good burst getting up field and causing havoc for the offense. This Ram versatile athlete will show up on both sides of the ball this fall for this stacked Rockford team. I see his stock continuing to elevate at the season unfolds.

Kam is another player I see playing well above his #18 ranking this fall. Kam is absolute lighting with the ball in his hands. Kam is one of the better wideouts I have seen at taking a small slip screen and turning into a big play if not a touchdown. The swan Valley senior to be is also excellent at high pointing the football one deep routes and hauling in tough catches over top of the defensive back. Another part of Kam's game I like is his pure speed and incredible one cut change of direction he displays after the catch. on multiple plays he leaves defenders diving at air as he jukes them out. Kam should see his recruitment take off as the season starts. He is a player that with thrive at the next level.

I was able to observe Brandon live at the spring PRZMI camp at Lawrence tech. Brandon loves to compete and did an excellent job shutting wideouts down at the event. I was impressed with Brandon's ability to stay in phase with his offensive player and was able to go up at make a play on the ball. Brandon showed good fluid hips and a smooth transition out of his break. Brandon has excellent speed and he does a good job making life miserable for wideouts. I see a big fall ahead for Brandon and suspect this dux defender to watch his stock soar this season.

Connor is an absolute menace on the defensive line for the Country Day Yellowjackets. Connor plays with good control and the powerful defensive tackle also plays with excellent leverage and maintaining good pad level. I am also impressed with Connors ability to fly out of his stance and put the lineman across from him on skates as he pushes them into the backfield. Another part of Connors game that stands out is his high end relentless motor. Even when a lineman gets an early edge on Connor he does not stay blocked for long and fights to begin his gap. Connor is the #17 defensive lineman in the state but I see him outplaying this ranking and elevating his stock this fall.
