is an athlete, through-and-through. Ranked as the No. 3 receiver and the No. 14 basketball player in the state on Prep Hoops, Alexander could have a future in either sport. Coach Kyle Knock sees the junior opting for basketball, but added that he could play at the FCS or D2 levels as a receiver, should he pursue football.
Pairing his basketball acumen with his skills as a wideout, Alexander makes running routes and navigating through defenses as a pass-catcher look effortless, and he’ll be a mainstay in the passing attack for the Hawks this season. As a sophomore, he grabbed 11 catches for 173 yards and a touchdown — expect those numbers to at least double this fall.

is another big-bodied receiver who can use his basketball skills to dominate on the football field this coming fall. Alexander plays in a loaded Prairie receiving corps but still managed to record 11 receptions, 177 receiving yards, and a receiving touchdown as a sophomore. Quantae projects well as an X receiver who can use his size to beat press coverage and knows how to consistently get open near the sticks to keep the drive moving. Quantae uses his long stride and speed very well when looking to gain ground quickly. He has very strong hands and showed he can concentrate on the ball even when battling through traffic. Great redzone threat who can outjump his defender to high-point the ball. Great athlete who could also end up with college basketball opportunities in his future!

Alexander’s starter kit should be enticing for college scouts. He brings size, speed and athleticism to the position. They give him a high ceiling if he continues developing so he’s ready to deliver with more opportunities. Alexander caught 11 passes for 177 yards and a touchdown in 2024. In watching his sophomore highlight video, we see Alexander take advantage of his 6-foot-2 frame and long arms. He rips off crisp routes whether lining up on the outside or from the slot. Alexander runs well and should be able to hold that athleticism as he adds weight and strength.
