Although Logan County was eliminated in the quarterfinals, Taylor continued to make his mark in the playoffs, finishing with 19 total tackles, four tackles for loss, four sacks, and a forced fumble. As a pass rusher, Taylor has a quick first step and uses his strength to bull rush opposing offensive tackles off the edge. He has also shown a nice variety of pass rush moves to defeat blocks. Against the run, he has shown the ability to run sideline to sideline to make tackles in the open field. Taylor doesn’t currently hold any offers but he deserves some attention from college coaches as he has the talent to play somewhere at the next level.

Against the run, Taylor plays with a high motor, showing the ability to run sideline to sideline to make tackles in the open field. Peyton doesn’t currently hold any offers but he definitely deserves more attention as he has the talent to play somewhere at the next level.

Moving over to the defensive side of the ball, senior defensive end Peyton Taylor Peyton Taylor 6'1" | 225 lbs | DL Logan County | 2023 State KY had an impressive game this past week. Taylor played a key role in Logan County’s 35-14 victory over Allen County-Scottsville, finishing the game with ten tackles, four tackles for loss, and four sacks. Peyton is a very impressive pass rusher with the ability to use his strength to run right through blocks on his way to the quarterback. He has also shown nice pass rush moves to defeat blocks. Once he gets to the quarterback, he does a great job of running his feet through contact to secure the sack. Against the run, Taylor plays with a very high motor, doing a great job of getting to the ball and showing that he is a very reliable open field tackler once he gets there. Peyton doesn’t currently hold any offers but definitely deserves some attention from college coaches as he has the talent to play somewhere at the next level.
