Ford is a good interior defensive lineman with a lengthy 6’3″ frame and better mobility than you usually see inside. He can line up head-up, hold his ground against the run, and does a nice job getting off blocks to make plays. The motor stands out too. He’ll chase ball carriers from behind and doesn’t quit on a rep. He put together a really good junior year with 57 tackles, 5.5 TFLs, and 2.5 sacks, and I don’t think enough people are talking about it. Feels like the type of player the right program is going to land and be really happy they did.

Ford put together a really underrated junior year and feels like a player who has been overlooked more than he should be. At 6’3”, he has good length and saw time on both sides of the line. Offensively, he held his own well and showed he could contribute in the run game with his strength and effort at the point of attack. Defensively is where he really shone, though. He showed good hands, a quick first step, and consistent production right from week one. He finished with 57 tackles, 5.5 TFLs, and 2.5 sacks while constantly being active around the football. I think the versatility and steady production make him a much more intriguing prospect than people realize.
