Another staple of the 612QBs camps and practices, Meyers has been gearing up for a big senior year after an offseason working in the lab. I think his best trait as a QB is the touch he puts on the ball. Rarely did I see wideouts have to adjust their routes to his ball. I was also impressed with his foot speed and his snappy release. Very few kids have put in as much work as Meyers, and I think we’re going to see that pay dividends during his senior season.

Meyers is a competitor man. I see him at every camp I go to, and every time I see him he manages to improve. I know he suffered a broken wrist last season, but there seemed to be no lingering effects today. He was able to sling with the best kids, which rightfully earned him a spot in the camp’s top group. I think his ability to throw off-platform is one of his most underrated abilities. Time and time again he’s shown that he can sling it off a little more than one leg while moving, and he’s got surprising arm strength for his frame. With a full senior year, Meyers and the Scarlet Knights could be a force.

hasn’t skipped a beat as he looked sharp on Sunday. Meyers threw the ball well, showing solid power and quick release on his throws while hitting nearly every one of his powers. Meyers threw a lot of back-shoulder passes where his receiver adjusted to make the play, giving a good display of his arm strength, though there were a couple passes where he threw a back-shoulder pass on a quick route aimed inside that seemed needless. Nevertheless, Meyers is looking a lot better coming off the injury and hopefully will stay healthy in 2025 to have a big year.

was one of the more confident signal-callers in attendance, doing a great job of leading WRs and putting the ball on a rope on a couple of impressive tosses, especially on the move. He showed good touch, quick feet that helped him maneuver the pocket with ease, and used his strong arm to push the ball into the short and intermediate areas of the field with accuracy and zip. Meyers has a good arm, sound mechanics, and was impressive during the competition portion of the workout, when the QBs had to throw a backside dig off their back foot through oncoming pressure. I think Meyers‘ stock is rising going into the 2025 season.

I absolutely love how well Peyton takes coaching, as that was the first thing I noticed from watching him last Friday night along with his bright character. Peyton showed that he could sling it too, as the speed of his quick release was rapid and I thought in the early drills he really focused on the attention to detail with great balance. Peyton was also impressive with his intermediate routes as he impressed me with his ball placement. From what I have seen on tape and heard on Peyton, I love the growth he has continued to make at the quarterback position as a 2026 quarterback prospect that I believe has outstanding upside yet to grow. I came away very impressed with Meyers. Where he stands out the most is his polished mechanics and composure under center. His ability to throw on the run while maintaining excellent mechanics, accuracy, and velocity showcases his ability to make plays outside the pocket. Meyers’ footwork in his dropback is another standout feature, displaying a solid foundation that allows him to navigate the pocket effectively. A key element of his passing mechanics is his ability to give himself a wide base when throwing, allowing him to generate power and accuracy to deliver strong, precise throws. He can add zip to his passes, displaying a quick release and a smooth throwing motion, while also being able to add touch to his passes if necessary, putting the ball in a position where only his receiver can get it. Notably, Meyers exhibits versatility in adjusting his arm angle under pressure. This adaptability allows him to make accurate throws even when there’s pressure in his face, showcasing his poise and decision-making under duress.
