got his senior campaign off to a great start as he led Springfield to one of the most lopsided wins of the week. Taking on Canby, Kuehn finished the game with 207 passing yards and 4 TDs as the Tigers completely gashed the Lancers’ defense. Kuehn’s performance wasn’t the most spectacular in terms of his athletic talent or strong arm, but he got the ball exactly where it needed to be, and let his talented receiving corps work their magic after the catch, which provided the brunt of Springfield’s production over the air. Kuehn did show great poise and mechanics, including one particular play where he rolled out to his left, set his feet, and hit a strong throw down the field to move the chains. With his future already set to play at Dordt at the collegiate level, Kuehn will look to finish off his high school run with a Class A Championship title for the Tigers.

#1 returning passer in Minnesota.
2025 stats: 151-224 (67.4%) for 2,413 yards and 35 TDs to 6 INTs. Finished as the #5 passer in yardage in MN in ’25.
Committed to Dordt College to play some NAIA ball.
Kuehn was a QB who PRZMN has been very high on since he took over the reigns for the Class A powerhouse as a sophomore for the 2024 season. Especially in the small school ranks, where consistent and effective passing attacks are harder to find, Kuehn really stands out as a kid who can move the football and lead an offense. Kuehn has three big things I really look for in a QB. 1) game reps/win percentage. 2) accuracy. 3) ball security & TD/INT ratio. The Springfield product also had a big showing at our PRZMN spring showcase, and I liked how he looked at the South Dakota Prospect Camp in June, which helped him earn offers from Northwestern (IA) and Southwest Minnesota State, with Dordt offer in mid-May on a strong and earlyish evaluation. I think he was somewhat overlooked in the MN 2027 QB race and eventual recruitment, especially given how strong the game tape is. Not to mention the production. Dordt has one of the better offenses and passing attacks in all of NAIA, so I really like this fit for both sides. First up, however, Kuehn and his Tigers have Class A state championship talent and aspirations in 2026.

Kuehn was statistically brilliant last year, racking up insane numbers and taking home several awards, including District MVP and District QB of the Year. He finished his junior season with 2400 passing yards on a 67.4% completion percentage, 37 total TDs, and a great 131.6 passer rating. His tape is astounding, and proves that without a doubt he’s one of, if not the best, QBs in “A” MN football. The kid throws a great ball and frequently shows off high-level pocket presence. As the pocket collapses around him, Kuehn bounces outside of it to give his wideouts more time to get open. If he needs to take a big hit to deliver a pass, he absolutely will. He’s got a quick release and puts excellent touch on deep balls in particular, often placing them in front only where his wideouts could get it. He consistently makes the right reads at the right time, and with a big camp circuit during the offseason, Kuehn’s stock could continue to rise significantly.

has continued to grow vastly as one of the most productive QBs in the state as he enters his 3rd year as Springfield’s starting QB. Kuehn completed over 67% of his passes last season for 2413 yards, 35 TDs, and only 6 INTs while rushing for 2 TDs. Kuehn has been a favorite during the offseason, particularly after a strong showing at our combine showcase series back in December. Showing exceptional poise, footwork, and body control throwing on the run, Kuehn is in full command of the Tigers’ offense, showing great pocket presence and improvisational skills while showing a near complete mastery in hitting the entire route tree. Kuehn is a legitimate threat who deserves some serious attention as one of the top QBs in the state entering his senior season.
