About Parker

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Technical and cerebral. I focus on my technique and I am a student of the game. I play bigger than I am and I'm built to play all four quarters on both sides if needed. Since my Freshman year, no one has played more downs for Cedarburg High School.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I'm coachable and I take direction well. You won't find too many people that will work harder than me. I am quiet until called upon and have high expectations of myself on and off the field.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I volunteer with our youth tackle football program and I was recently recognized by my job for exceptional work at Sendik's.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

The summer prior to my junior year I was burned in a fire accident and received the equivalent of 2nd degree burns on my face, neck and arm. Through hard work with the rehabilitation process and the Lord's healing hand, I was able to recover in time for our season. My biggest fear was not being able to play and letting my teammates down. It was an experience I will never forget.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for an opportunity to compete and improve. Ideally, I'd like to work with coaches to help develop my game and also develop me as a young man.

Parker is putting together a strong senior season, and Week 8 might have been his best week yet. The center is able to quick set rapidly and be in position to either set his anchor in pass protection or win the body position battle and then attack DL in the run game. Almost every run rep looks the same from the senior. He fires out quickly, wins the leverage and body position battles, and then steadily works the DL out of the gap or off the line of scrimmage into level two. Definitely keep an eye on the senior as he heads into Week 9.
