Owen Clary Owen Clary 6'1" | 215 lbs | LB Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy | 2027 State OH is a starting linebacker for Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy. Clary is a tackling machine. Very instinctive, fast and twitchy, with quick read-and-reaction time, Clary is an outstanding downhill run defender who wastes no time getting from Point A to B. The 6-foot-1, 215-pound middle ‘backer is constantly around the ball. He is an outstanding run defender and strong pass rusher, having recorded 10 sacks this past season. Clary racked up an eye-popping 138 tackles this fall, posts a 315 bench, a 505 squad and a 32-inch vertical.

Clary’s main positions is Mike linebacker, but you’ll also see him line up along the defensive line for CHCA. Owen plays the game on a downhill slant. He’s always moving forward and playing with good pad level. He’s in the top 5 in the Miami Valley Conference in both tackles (126) and sacks (9). Whether it’s blitzing or diagnosing he does a good job of getting through the was to make plays. CHCA is still alive in the OHSAA playoffs. They will meet Valley View tomorrow night in round 3 of the Division 4.
