He’s been one of the best overall athletes in Class 3A over the last few seasons. Not only is he a standout wide receiver on offense, he’s also a good defensive back on defense and that’s not even bringing up what Walker has done on the basketball floor as well. On Thursday night, the headlines revolved around the Heritage Hall rushing attack with their dynamic duo in the backfield. But it would be unwise to overlook the impact that Walker had on this game. He was also one of their leading tacklers on defense with seven tackles on the night and was the last line of defense against the Metro passing attack.

to have a big game. Walker has been one of the best athletes at Heritage Hall over the last several seasons. In addition to what he’s done in football, he’s also an excellent basketball player. Walker is Heritage Hall’s leading wide receiver with 58 catches for nearly 1,000 yards and eight touchdowns on the season. Walker is a big play threat for the Chargers and will put some pressure on the Metro Christian defense. He’s a big reason why the Patriots can’t just focus on stopping the run because the Chargers will make them pay with Walker’s playmaking ability at wide receiver.

might have had the most experience and it showed several times throughout the evening. The majority of Walker’s production were on big plays and he gave Bass a big target at the wide receiver position. He would finish with just four catches but would go for 118 yards. Walker helped set up Heritage Hall’s first touchdown with a 20 yard reception in the first quarter. He would also make a 75-yard reception that he nearly carried a Millwood defender into the end zone. It was clear from the first few possessions that Walker was going to be a big play target within the Heritage Hall offense. They attempted a few long passes for Walker but with the wet field conditions, they just couldn’t convert. We expect Walker to be Heritage Hall’s leading wide receiver this fall and to continue raising his stock as a 2023 WR prospect.
