Nyion Mason Nyion Mason 6'3" | 185 lbs | DB/WR Dinwiddie | 2026 State VA is a 6-foot-3, 185-pound cornerback and wide receiver who impacts the game in multiple ways. As a receiver, Mason runs clean routes and uses his speed to create separation. He scored on a quick slant and later on a deep go route, beating the corner by several yards. Mason also made a diving catch on a post route for a big gain against zone coverage. On defense, he showed great recognition and closing speed by blowing up a screen for a loss. Mason’s a dangerous kick returner as well, taking one back for a touchdown with long, smooth strides.

Mason is a long, athletic corner who drives in zone and bail coverage. He consistently makes high-level plays on the football. He’s also not afraid to get involved in run support or finish plays aggressively. Mason shows trust In his technique and has disciplined eyes. I’m also impressed with the way he intercepts passes at the catch point, undercuts routes, and makes game-changing plays. I think more footage of him in man coverage would help his cause when it comes to recruiting.
