Out of the three quarterbacks on this breakdown, the safest bet feels like it’s Glenwood signal caller Nolan Mount Nolan Mount 6'0" | 180 lbs | QB Shenandoah Community | 2024 State IA . Putting on the film from the last few seasons, a few things really stood out. The first was that Mount had some really good talent around him and he did a good job of getting the ball to their standouts. And then there were quite a few throws that we watched on his film that made us say “wow” out loud while watching. There were a few times where we thought the ball was going one way and it went another and the play ended up being a big one for the Glenwood offense. Mount also put up some monster numbers over the last few seasons that were good enough to rewrite some of the record books when it comes to throwing the football. Mount is an absolute magician in the backfield in playaction situations. He does a great job of confusing and slowing down the defensive front seven just enough for his receivers to get open. The biggest takeaways were his ability in playaction passes and then some of those “wow” throws that we just haven’t seen that much of from many other quarterbacks.
