The fourth and final tight end that cracked my Top 200 players in the class of 2023 in the state of Kentucky is Scott High School’s Nolan Hunter Nolan Hunter 6'5" | 205 lbs | TE Scott | 2023 State KY . Hunter made the transition from wide receiver to a true tight end and thrived in his new role this season. He used his time spent as a receiver to his advantage, showing impressive route running skills from the tight end position. Hunter also showed that he has the speed to pose as a threat in the vertical passing game. After the catch, Hunter used his speed to turn up the field and pick up yards after the catch but was also a very hard runner, breaking tackles without losing stride. Hunter is also a very reliable blocker, playing with a ton of physicality, showing the ability to pick up blocks in the open field and drive defenders out of the picture. Nolan currently holds offers from Union College, Lindsey Wilson, Walsh University, Thomas More, and Findlay, and I can see him becoming a very productive tight end for any of those programs.

After making the switch from receiver to tight end, Hunter had a solid senior season, finishing with 24 receptions for 324 yards and five touchdowns. He still shows the ability to run routes like a receiver and is a dangerous vertical threat down the seam. Hunter also has the speed to pick up yards after the catch and is a very hard runner with the ball in his hands. I also like his ability as a blocker, doing a great job of driving his man out of the picture to create a lane of the ball carrier. Nolan currently holds offers from Thomas More, Union, Lindsey Wilson, Findlay, and Walsh, and I can see him developing into a very reliable tight end for any of those programs.

Nolan Hunter Nolan Hunter 6'5" | 205 lbs | TE Scott | 2023 State KY had an impressive senior year as he made the transition from receiver to tight end. He continued to be a big part of Scott’s passing attack, finishing the regular season with 18 catches for 263 yards and four touchdowns. Hunter showed the ability to line up on the outside at receiver and in the slot or H Back role. He showed the speed to pose as a deep threat and showed the ability to go up and catch the ball at its highest point. After the catch, he showed the strength to break tackles in the open field to pick up extra yards. I also liked the aggression he showed as a run blocker, running his feet through contact to drive his man down the field. Hunter also served as the team’s punter and played defensive end on defense but I like him best on offense. Nolan currently holds offers from Thomas More, Findlay, Walsh, Lindsey Wilson, and Union, and I see him developing into a very reliable tight end at the next level.
