The prolific Norwood Young America QB finished his senior year as the state’s leader in completions and top-5 in passing yards and TDs as NYA made it all the way to the section finals before seeing a tough loss to a talented Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted on November 4th. The MN All-Star Game selection displays a nice-sized, dual-threat QB with a snappy arm and a ton of juice as a ball carrier when he tucks and runs. I love the visible velocity on his more intermediate throws and he shows off consistent accuracy on passes all over the field. Strickfaden looks like a man amongst boys when he takes off and runs, too. The 6’2, 185 lb. four-year starter earned a scholarship offer from Upper Iowa this season and was offered by Winona State back in June. Great career, Noah. It’s been very fun to watch.

Only a few times a summer at prospect camps do we really see quarterbacks that have excellent touch on all three levels of the field, and let me just say that resonated with me evaluating Norwood-Young America’s Noah Strickfaden Noah Strickfaden 6'3" | 180 lbs | QB Norwood Young America | 2023 State MN . On one particular rep I watched from Noah in 1v1s I used the word teardrop meaning the touch he showed on that rep was a dime from his arm from the touch perspective of his throw. Noah’s tape starts off taping off a long run, that just showed the athleticism you get from him when he gets outside the pocket with his legs. The first throw we got to see was similar to what we saw in Winona, as his deep ball accuracy was showed a lot of precision from start to finish. The 6’3 185 pounder has been a heavy-hitter in the NSIC and I expect there will be coming much more attention this fall, as his skillsets with his extensive mobility and arm talent are outstanding to watch on tape.
