While he did throw his first two interceptions of the season, he also remarkably amassed the 500-yard mark against a very talented defense. Transferring in from Flower Mound High School, Spinks looks to continue to progress after an electric sophomore season that saw him excel in throwing the ball outside the numbers and over the top of the secondary. Spinks can flat out spin it. He is extremely accurate on the run and he has the arm talent to make throws from multiple platforms. He has great pocket awareness, he has the athleticism to escape pressure and find targets down field. In the short time that he got varsity reps, he gave Flower Mound a glimpse into the future of what he can do under center. He passed for 770 yards with 7 touchdowns in the time he was the starter.
