Expert Analysis
Michael Huntley | Prep Redzone Scout
Schuback averaged 183 yards per game with 20 touchdowns and nine rushing touchdowns after transferring to Poway from Texas for his senior year.
He has great touch on the deep balls and has plus accuracy to all three levels. Schuback does a good job keeping his eyes on the secondary while under pressure and can set his feet to get off a good throw even when way outside the pocket. He’s a good scrambler who can make plays in the run game.
A lot of his offers are from 2024 but UTSA was the most recent school to offer him.

Transferred in from Texas to Poway for his senior year. At 6’1” 195 lbs. he calm and poised in the pocket with a strong/balanced throwing platform that allows him to deliver the ball on time and with precision. Shows excellent touch as a passer, layering throws effectively and displaying high-level accuracy to hit receivers in stride. Processes pressure well and shows a natural feel for the rush, sliding within the pocket to avoid contact while keeping his eyes downfield. Comfortable creating off-script, with the ability to reset his base and deliver accurate throws from multiple platforms. As a runner, he’s functional and efficient, capable of extending plays and picking up yardage when lanes open up. One of the top uncommitted 2026 QB’s in the state holding nine D1 offers.

Schuback has impressive in the first four weeks of the season. He has led Melissa to a 3-1 record and his ability to make the big play with his arm gives his offense the chance to be explosive. He has excellent footwork, his pocket awareness enables him to evade pressure and make throws on the move. Noah has the arm talent to make every throw on the route tree and he has the arm strength to deliver strikes in heavy traffic. He will be a key offensive weapon as Melissa takes on Anna in a big district matchup.

is a highly skilled pocket passer who possesses excellent poise and accuracy in the pocket and put it on full display for Hoover in limited time last fall. Schuback has great awareness and reads the field to deliver precise passes very well- he routinely shows the ability to thread the needle and fit the ball into tight windows with his exceptional accuracy and ball placement. Schuback’s arm talent is evident in his ability to make all the necessary throws on the field. Whether it’s a deep ball down the sideline, a quick slant over the middle, or a touch pass to the corner of the end zone, he has the arm strength and touch to put the ball exactly where it needs to be. Last fall Schuback showed this with his 541 yards and 4 touchdowns in just a few games starting- leading him to picking up offers from Virginia Tech, Purdue, and Ole Miss!

Schuback has a talented accurate arm that can easily place the ball wherever its needed- Schuback does a great job leading his receivers and fitting the ball into tighter windows. In addition to that Schuback has a good deal of mobility that really helps him make plays outside of the pocket. All in all, Schuback is definitely going to be a QB to watch going forward.
