Noah was named the Offensive MVP for the game, and it was more so because Noah moved the East Team with confidence on two scoring drives – both of them resulting in touchdown passes. The first one was a play-action shot on first down where he found his receiver, Jonathan Manley Jonathan Manley 5'7" | 150 lbs | WR Weddington | 2026 State NC from Weddington, on a post route for a 32-yard TD pass in the first quarter. The second one was a play-action bootleg pass where he found Porter Ridge TE Alex Todd from 1 yard out. For the day, Noah was 6-10 for 42 yards and the 2 TD passes, along with 5 rushes for 28 yards.

Coming off a year where he was named his conference’s offensive player of the year, we had Noah ranked pretty high and expected him to really have a big season this year. Noah has been good here in recent games, and it’s no coincidence that the Spartans have been playing better football lately. Noah was also named to our 6A Preseason All-State Team, so there is some nice talent in this All-Star Game on both sides at the quarterback position.

I recently wrote about Noah for our 704 Junior Bowl series, but Noah has a quick, compact delivery, getting the football out fast, accurately, and consistently to keep their offense on the move. I like how Noah spreads the ball around to his targets, and how he can be accurate to all areas of the football field. Noah throws the deep ball with great touch, and he can be elusive within the pocket. He was named his conference’s offensive player of the year, and I’m excited to see what he does in his senior season.
