has no offers to my knowledge which is crazy. He has that new age prototype size and his frame is filled out well. The arm and understanding of arm angles stares at you on film. It seems like with a flick of the wrist Keating can make the ball fly 50 yards with ease. His accuracy on deep throws over the middle rock always away from defenders. He has some mobility and isn’t afraid of contact whether that’s on a scramble and he runs through somebody or it’s when he’s in the pocket and has no fear of getting hit on his release. Keating rocks long story short and going into his senior year he has been heavily underrated.

grade has fluctuated between FCS and Division II. I have always leaned toward the side of Keating being a viable option for FCS schools looking for a worthy HS recruit. The likes of Villanova, SFU, Bucknell, I’ve always felt that this young man is a good take for any of these programs. As we know, these programs are waiting later and later to recruit HS prospects, even later for HS quarterbacks, specifically. Keating having no offers to his name at this point in time should not alarm anyone. There is ample time for recruiting to pick up, I am adamant about this. Something tells me that I am still a bit too low on all things Keating. QBs play by different rules in this new CFB landscape. The fight for a spot at the next-level has never been more tenacious. I have a feeling that if Keating keeps his nose down, head in the books and continues to progress on the football field, recruiting will eventually catch up. Patience will be needed. Excited to see him in person.
Junior year regular season highlights below. Season had its ups and downs but excited for one last shot at it with my brothers this thanksgiving! @PHS_RAMSFB @ArtisticMayhem1 @iamCoachAbe @PRZPAvic https://t.co/5VOhhX0tDS

was present and repped at the BUXMONT Showcase. Back-to-back attendee, yet Keating carried himself a bit differently this time around. Not much in terms of things learned, Keating looks fine-tuned from a mechanical perspective, yet I was more impressed with how well he carried himself among other alphas present. Confident, smooth in and out of drills. Keating wasn’t as established as he is currently, speaking of this time last year at this event. A fresh ranking, fresh tape, Keating presence created a bit of buzz, his talent warrants that. Worth noting that Keating was still in the midst of baseball season while attending the showcase, kid is one hell of a worker.

Best collection of wow throws so far, of any 2026 QB ranked behind him. A myriad of mesh sets that incorporate a read with his back,

is witnessed pulling the rock from the belly of his back and hitting backside seams, front side slants if the defense looks to have the advantage post-snap. I see play-action sets, I see Pennridge purposefully moving Keating’s launch point via sprint-outs, there’s a lot to this offense, he seems to grasp it well. Tight window attacker, kid has supreme confidence to test certain holes/windows downfield. A mix of accuracy and torque, Keating can deliver ropes to corners, seams, and posts alike with anticipation skills against two high looks. Can reset his feet when transitioning from target to target. Good in impromptu situations, starting to carry a LB build, starting to run like one too. My favorite QB prospect on the rankings thus far. I’ve made too many excuses to have not seen him play live yet, that’ll hopefully change this coming Fall.

throw the football. Good footwork in the pocket, clean mechanics, tough to tell on tape but the kid looks to keep feet just outside shoulder width apart. Keating looks to be in position to throw more often than he isn’t, again, this says a ton about a kid new to high school football, especially in District One. There’s command, there’s purpose to his throw and decisions. I get this from a small sample size, I imagine the young man still has a ways to go in terms of having complete control of an offense. Some seniors don’t obtain that level of control until mid-season. That being said, the confidence and pre-throw mechanic package looks promising. Hope to see him produce heavily this Fall.
