Flores checks a lot of boxes as future Power 5 TE with his combination of size, athleticism, and natural pass catching ability. At 6’4” 225 lbs. he has the size of a TE but moves like a receiver. He’s a plus route runner that does a good job setting up and selling at the top of his routes. Great ball skills with a large catch radius showing a good ability to use his body control and coordination to track/adjust to ball flight. Takes advantage of his length and size to box out defenders and attack the ball at the high point. Once he gets going downhill he can run and is tough to tackle after the catch. A fractured ankle in week 4 derailed his sophomore season but expect his recruiting to take off once he’s healthy and can showcase his skillset. Already holds an offer from Louisville.
