When we first evaluated Clark almost four years ago, I had him pegged as a future star left tackle. However, he quickly showed a natural ability at defensive tackle that was hard to ignore. Every year, he’s gotten bigger, stronger, and faster, and looks every bit the part of a Power Four recruit. The 18.5 tackles for loss are evidence of that.

Clark entered the combine as the most highly touted defensive line prospect in attendance — and he lived up to the billing. At 6’4″ and over 325 pounds, he’s an absolute anchor in the trenches. Clark consistently drew double teams, yet still managed to showcase advanced counter moves and impressive agility for his size. A dominant force against the run and pass, he’s a sure-fire Shrine Bowl selection and a name that will continue to rise on recruiting boards.

Clark was originally on our board as an offensive lineman, but made the switch to the interior of the defensive line about a year and a half ago. Since then, he’s gotten better and better. He’s a unique player to scout in that he doesn’t fit either stereotype of a two-gapping block eater or a gap-shooting slasher. Instead, he’s a wall on defense, holding his ground and making a remarkable number of stops for an interior defensive lineman. The upside here is that he probably isn’t close to his ceiling.

, the massive defensive lineman from Charles E. Jordan High School, was hands down the most dominant defensive lineman at the Carolina Coaches Combine. Measuring in at 6’4″, 325+ pounds, with an 84-inch wingspan, Clark is a rare physical specimen—and he backed it up with elite performance.
He threw up 25 reps of 185 pounds on the bench and recorded a 5-flat short shuttle, an impressive feat at his size. Clark showcased explosive athleticism and overwhelming power, going undefeated in 1-on-1s—not just winning reps, but completely shutting down his opponents. No one came close to beating him.
