Blocker is a dynamic slot receiver with high caliber speed and playmaking ability in space. A true mismatch in the open field, he’s explosive off the line and accelerates quickly creating separation with ease against man or zone coverage. His short area quickness and sharp route running make him a difficult cover underneath, while his long speed allows him to turn short catches into long gains. He has strong hands, tracks the ball well on the move, and not afraid to work across the middle of the field. Gets involved in the offense in a variety of ways working all areas of the field, taking jet sweeps, or turning screens into big plays. His speed, agility, and versatility make him a threat to score every time he touches it. Collected six D1 offers before committing to UC Davis in late May.

Victor Valley receiver Nikolas Blocker Nikolas Blocker Nikolas Blocker 5'8" | 160 lbs | WR Victor Valley | 2026 State CA announced his commitment to UC Davis on Tuesday.

Blocker caught 41 passes for 767 yards with six touchdowns for Victor Valley last season and was a MVP at the Under Armour Next camp in May.

He chose UC Davis over Coastal Carolina, Hawaii and Sacramento State among others. Blocker is the first player from California in UC Davis’ 2026 recruiting class and the second player overall.

Blocker has had a very busy off-season thus far, and gathered MVP Honors at the UC Report in Southern California last weekend after a special performance. He is a twitchy and explosive route runner with natural hands and good body control in traffic and has a tremendous initial burst after the catch that can create separation downfield with ease. He is a precise route runner that is quick in and out of his brakes and shows good foot speed and the ability to get into defenders blind spots before breaking off his routes. Extremely tough to tackle in the open field, he can make defenders miss in space and easily break arm and ankle tackles and is a big time play maker with the ball in his hands. He has picked up offers from Hawaii, Delaware State, Bethune-Cookman and Sacramento state among others.
