About Nico

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a strong, disciplined defensive tackle who is not afraid of hard work and will put in 100% every play to help my team defense succeed — controlling gaps, stopping the run, and setting the tone up front.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Hard-working, coachable, and relentless — I bring energy and toughness every day.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

DePaul College Prep Football, Wrestling, Robotics Team, Pack Chat Sports, and the Ski and Snowboard Club.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Football and wrestling have taught me accountability and communication, while volunteering has taught me the value of serving others, staying humble, and working hard to make a difference.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I've had a couple injuries (with wrestling and football) and have had to miss some time which is my biggest challenge. I hate missing any time so always put in the hard work to get cleared as quickly as possible. I came back more focused and appreciate every second of being back with my team.
