Dunmire is a physical young linebacker who looks comfortable handling the middle of the defense. He’s a strong tackler, does a good job getting off blocks, and finds his way to the ball through traffic. He was all over the field on Friday, finishing with a game-high 19 tackles. For a young linebacker handling that much responsibility in the middle, he looks like he’s off to a really good start.

Dunmire rotated in during year one and looked good in spurts, showing his athleticism on the field. He flashed the ability to make plays when given opportunities and didn’t look out of place. He finished with 12 tackles, 2 TFLs, 1 interception, and 1 forced fumble. There’s something to build on here, and he’s a player who could take on a larger role as he continues to develop.
