Chaillaux has put together back-to-back good seasons and has really started to develop and turn the corner as a player. He shows decent closing speed and does a nice job getting off blocks to make plays around the football. He’s active with his hands and can swipe at the ball to force turnovers when finishing tackles. He also brings versatility defensively with the ability to hold up against the run while still getting after the quarterback. Over his last 12 games, he’s totaled 33 tackles, 8.5 TFLs, and 4 sacks. I think the trajectory is pointing upward, and he looks like a player whose confidence and production are both continuing to grow.
