Barefield is a good athlete with solid speed and runs with a decisive one-cut style. He does a nice job sticking his foot in the ground and getting north-south without wasting movement. He’s effective out of the backfield as a receiver and shows good feel in the screen game, allowing blocks to develop and following them patiently before accelerating upfield. Once he gets going, his top-end speed becomes a real weapon and allows him to turn chunk plays into explosive gains. I think his combination of vision, speed, and versatility makes him an intriguing offensive weapon.
