Cyrus who came to New York for his Senior Season was the best QB in the PSAL – the South Shore prospect has one of the bigger arms in the state and measurables that really stand out. I was not able to see South Shore play this year but I watched both his South Shore and Baltimore tape and there is a lot to like. Cyrus can create outside of the pocket – I have him as QB5 in New York in what is a deeper than usual class at the position.

Cyrus came to New York with a few D1 offers to his name – and while people may look at the Canarsie game where the entire South Shore offense struggled, Cyrus has easily been the best PSAL quarterback to date – and is amongst some of the top QBs in New York in his lone and debut season here. Cyrus has a big-time arm and can push the ball vertically to a talented group of wide receivers for South Shore. Their receivers are talented and established in the PSAL, but Cyrus has come in and done a great job leading the top passing offense in New York City so far this year.

Cyrus is making his presence known at City after transferring from Mount Saint Joseph. The sophomore has been lighting it up over the past few weeks recording 1,023 yards and 10 touchdowns already. Cyrus has the height to stand in the pocket and throw darts and is poised in the pocket. He gets the ball out to his receivers on rhythm giving them time and space to make a secure catch or make a move to gain a few more yards. We knew this prospect was top of his class coming into high school, more performances like his last three will solidify him as one of the leaders of the 2026 class for this season.
