Ranked inside our Pennsylvania 2028 top 500, this junior is listed at 5’7, 150 pounds with a 3.6 GPA. He uploaded his two-and-a-half-minute regular-season highlight reel yesterday, providing a complete look at his offensive production. Although he’s only posted twice previously this season, he has made both a midseason and full-season compilation available, which matters considerably more than his overall social media activity. I had the opportunity to evaluate him in person earlier this season, and his latest footage reinforces much of what I saw from him at the time. He’s an undersized slot receiver whose game depends on quickness, lateral agility and the ability to create separation in confined spaces.
His opening highlight is a play I witnessed live earlier in the season. Working from an inside slot alignment, he runs an out route near the goal line and secures the reception inside the five-yard line for a touchdown. It’s a straightforward scoring play, but it demonstrates his ability to create an available throwing window in a condensed area of the field. His second highlight features him running a crossing route from the slot, where he receives the football in stride and accelerates across the field. This is a better example of his open-field ability. Once he gets moving, he can open up his stride and turn horizontal separation into additional yardage. These first two reps demonstrate how his offense can use him on both short-breaking routes and concepts that allow him to build speed across the formation.
His short-area burst is the strongest part of his offensive profile. When defenders lose leverage or fail to execute their coverage responsibilities, he has the acceleration to exploit those mistakes quickly. He’s comfortable catching the football near the line of scrimmage and has the movement ability to contribute on quick screens, including pop screens and other designed touches from the slot. His lateral agility allows him to change direction without sacrificing much momentum, making him difficult to square up in space. He’s particularly effective when his offense creates opportunities for him to work against isolated defenders rather than asking him to win through size or physical strength.
One of the more important highlights comes approximately 48 seconds into the tape, where he demonstrates the ability to secure a contested reception in traffic between the hashes. At 5’7, 150 pounds, his physical dimensions will be a legitimate consideration for college coaches, even at the Division III level. They’ll want to know whether he can handle contact, maintain possession through physical coverage and consistently finish catches when defenders are in position to challenge him. This rep provides useful evidence that he isn’t exclusively a space-dependent receiver. He shows the concentration and toughness necessary to complete a difficult reception in an area where contact is expected.
His size will still limit certain aspects of his collegiate projection, particularly against longer defensive backs who can disrupt his release or challenge him physically throughout routes. I’d like to see more examples of him defeating tight coverage without relying on defensive mistakes or favorable spacing. However, his quickness, change-of-direction ability and willingness to catch the football in traffic give him a realistic foundation as a slot receiver. His offense understands how to utilize those strengths, and his regular-season tape provides enough production to support his current ranking.
He’s put together a productive junior season and has done what I wanted from a film availability standpoint by releasing both midseason and regular-season compilations. I don’t see enough here to make a major adjustment to his top 500 placement, but his ability to contribute from the slot remains clear. His next step is proving he can consistently separate and finish receptions against more physical defensive backs. I’m hoping to get another opportunity to evaluate him in person during the upcoming playoff run, where the competition should provide a useful test of how his skill set translates.

Nehemiah Jones Nehemiah Jones 5'7" | 150 lbs | WR/ATH Monsignor Bonner & Archbishop Prendergast Catholic | 2028 State PA showed some solid ability last season as a wide receiver. His ability to catch the ball and make defenders miss in the open field was excellent. He also made an impact on special teams as he played as a gunner on the punt team. On these plays, you see his athleticism and speed when he goes downfield and makes plays. Jones should be able to contribute more next season for Bonner-Prendie as a wide receiver.
